A very common dessert soup in China and HK and its perfect to indulge this gingery soup around this time of the year. Keeps the cold away hihi. I was pleasantly suprise that the paste actually turned out to be pretty ok.

To make rice balls you need glutinous rice flour, mix with a little of water... and suger if u perfer it sweet. You can make plain rice balls but I did with black sesame and red bean fillings inside, not as good as the one you get in China but pretty darn good to be the first time doing it.
